This extraordinary project marked a major milestone in Joy’s design career—her first large-scale commercial commission and the beginning of her signature style. When Dr. Kyle Shaddix envisioned a plastic surgery center that felt nothing like a medical facility, Joy was brought in to bring that dream to life. What followed was an immersive design journey that blended organic textures, soft gold tones, and modern glamour to create an environment that feels elevated yet approachable.
From the lobby’s sculptural chairs (the original design inspiration) to the spa’s tranquil aqua palette, every inch of the 10,000-square-foot facility was thoughtfully designed to make patients feel calm, confident, and cared for. The result: a space that redefines what a medical practice can look and feel like—modern, inviting, and unforgettable.
