Project Brief
This Cordova Park kitchen renovation marked the third transformation in a beloved second-generation family home. The goal was to update the space’s dated knotted pine walls and dark finishes with a lighter, more modern palette—while maintaining its welcoming, family-centered charm. Since the homeowners preferred a softer aesthetic over stainless steel, Joy incorporated Café matte white appliances to complement the new design.
By moving a wall and reconfiguring the layout, she created room for a small island—adding both functionality and style. The result is a bright, timeless kitchen that feels completely reimagined yet still rooted in the home’s family legacy.
